"Jeff was a great team leader at Bemidji. He was intensely concerned with winning, sacrificing his body to do the "dirty work" such as setting picks, playing defense, and diving for loose balls. Jeff could score the easy way (3's) or the hard way (getting to the free throw line) but made great decisions based on what was needed. It is no surprise he is an athletic director with his leadership skills, charisma, and ability to see the big picture."
